The cast is only growing. After Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders, The Dark Knight Rises) and Emily Blunt (A Quiet Place Part II, Jungle Cruise) joined the cast a few weeks ago, we have now learned, thanks to Deadline , that Robert Downey Jr. and Matt Damon will be starring in Christopher Nolan’s latest thriller, Oppenheimer.
Matt Damon recently starred in Ridley Scott’s medieval epic, The Last Duel, in which he played Jean de Carrouges while delivering an outstanding performance. Between now and Oppenheimer‘s release, the actor will star in Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder and James Mangold’s The Force.
Robert Downey Jr. has also signed onto the project after the disappointing Dolittle being the actors follow-up to the smash-hit Avengers: Endgame. As of right now, it hasn’t been announced what roles these actors will have in the film, but GYCO will keep you posted once more news is announced.
