Review
Once again we have another issue of Power Rangers filled to the brim with action and emotion everything you’ll need to give you the comic you have been waiting for. The story that Parrott has brought us continues the arc of the war on The Empyreal and the aftermath and destruction they have left in their wake.
Drakkon shows his true colours that we all knew were always lurking beneath the friendly facade as he leaves the Rangers stranded on the desolate planet. The story continues and feels raw and heartfelt to the core as we see the Rangers discussing their next steps and if or how they will ever make it off the planet. This issue definitely tugs on the heart strings as you see Trini leaving what could be her final message, it feels as though all hope is lost in what could be then end of the Rangers as we know it, a new war is on the horizon one that could change everything.
Ryan Parrott again brings his “A Game” to the comic world and gives us a story full of raw emotion with non stop action, the excitement builds with every issue and leaves you wanting more each issue never seems enough and always ends on a cliffhanger that just keeps you hanging on, I am fully invested in the Power Rangers Universe and can’t wait for more.
Franceso Mortarino never ceases to amaze me with his stunning illustrations that really brings Ryan’s words to life and pulls the reader deep into the world so you actually feel you are living each page, each book in the series is a complete work of art simply stunning to look at.
Verdict
As a Power Rangers fan from childhood the more I read the comics from the Rangers multiverse the more I fall in love with it, the creative team get it right everytime and long may it continue.
