After infinite amounts of anticipation and patient waiting from fans, Mob Psycho 100 has officially announced it’s third season with a teaser trailer and visual!
Based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by ONE (the creator of other anime hit One Punch Man) and animated by Studio Bones (My Hero Academia), Mob Psycho 100 is a beloved anime modern classic. The first two seasons follow the journey of Shigeo Kageyama, also known as Mob, a powerful esper with psychic abilities who lives a (relatively) normal life under the guidance of con-man and fan-favourite Reigin Arataka.
Season 1 premiered in July 2016, and the second season debuted in January 2019. With each season announcement there has been roughly half a year until said season would debut, so we could be looking at a Spring or Summer 2022 release. There has also been no announcement for the streaming service, but it could be expected to be Crunchyroll as this is where previous seasons aired as simulcast streaming.
The voice cast will be returning for the next season, as well as the staff Yuzuru Tachikawa (Executive Director), Takahiro Hasui (Director), Kenji Kawai (Composer) and many more!
There is no confirmed release date as of yet, but as the fans waited for this announcement alone over the course of a 99 day countdown from the official Twitter, I think it is safe to say that we can all wait just a little bit longer!
