After yesterday’s first look stills from the upcoming Doctor Who: Flux miniseries, the BBC has now released the series’ trailer. From the looks of things Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor is going to have a lot on her hands when the show returns on October 31.
The trailer, which you can check out in the play below, confirms the return of a number of classic Doctor Who villains. We get glimpses of new footage featuring the Ood, the Cybermen, the Sontarans, and the ever-haunting Weeping Angels.
The thirteenth season of Doctor Who was produced through COVID protocols, hence the reduced episode count. Writer Chris Chibnall has instead opted for Whittaker’s final season to take the form of a classic Who adventure with one story spanning 6 episodes.
Doctor Who returns to screens in the UK on October 31, 2021 with Jodie Whittaker in the title role. Joining the Doctor this season are the returning Mandip Gill as Yaz and new companion Dan, played by John Bishop.
