Just last week we brought you the news that Warner Bros. Pictures’ Wonka had entered production here in the UK. Now, courtesy of Willy Wonka himself – Timothee Chalamet – we have a first look at the titular character.
Chalamet has shared a detailed look at himself in character as the famous chocolate factory owner, direct from the snowy set. The image shows off a lot of the costume, from the chocolate coloured hat to the embroidery detail on his trademark jacket.
Wonka is being directed by Paul King who reunited with plenty of cast members from both of his Paddington films. Also starring in Wonka are Tom Davis, Simoon Farnaby, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Mathew Baynton, Jim Carter, and Rich Fulcher.
No release date has been confirmed for the film as-yet.
