After months of anticipation, Warner Bros. has confirmed that the third entry in the Fantastic Beasts franchise will be titled The Secrets of Dumbledore. The studio has also confirmed the film will debut in cinemas on April 15, 2022.
A brief teaser, revealing the film’s official logo has been released on social media to confirm the news.
The third film in the Fantastic Beasts franchise has had a well documented troubles with its production. Following his widely-publicised legal troubles, Warner Bros. asked that Johnny Depp exit the film, replacing him in the role of Gellert Grindelwald with Mads Mikkelsen.The film has reportedly undergone fairly extensive rewriters and reshoots before making its way to the silver screen.
Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Jude Law and Ezra Miller are all set to return for The Secrets of Dumbledore. Warner Bros. Pictures will release the film in cinemas on April 15, 2022.
