Slasher fans rejoice! The final trailer to the highly-anticipated twelfth entry into the Halloween franchise, Halloween Kills, has debuted online and is filled to the brim with blood, gore, gnarly action and returning characters.

Check out the trailer in the player below:

Minutes after Laurie Strode (played by Jamie Lee Curtis), her daughter Karen (played by Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (played by Andi Matichak) leave the masked monster, Michael Myers, caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with fatal injuries, believing she has finally killed her algorithm. But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his bloodbath ritual begins again. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend against it, she inspires everyone in Haddonfield to rise up against her unstoppable monster. But when a group of survivors from Michael’s first wave of violence decide to take matters into their own hands, a mob of vigilantes gather to hunt Michael down.

As a big fan of David Gordon Green’s previous Halloween movie from 2018, this sequel looks like it will certainly ramp up the body count and tension between the masked man and Laurie Strode. The film had its world premiere recently at the Venice Film Festival, dividing critics with some calling it “one of the best Halloween movies to date” while others are calling it “generic” or “bland”.  Nevertheless, horror fans are gearing up for what will be the biggest horror movie of October and it sure looks to be killer!

Universal Pictures presents Halloween Kills exclusively in cinemas from October 15th.
