One question on everyone’s lips going in to yesterday’s Star Trek Day: would we get a new look at Star Trek: Discovery season 4? The answer was… sort of…
It was confirmed during the panel that season 4 will debut on Paramount+ on Thursday, November 18. Fans were also given a brand new synopsis for the season which reads:
Season four of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY finds Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery facing a threat unlike any they’ve ever encountered. With Federation and non-Federation worlds alike feeling the impact, they must confront the unknown and work together to ensure a hopeful future for all.
Though no new trailer was released for Discovery, the panel did debut a new image of Captain Burnham on the bridge of the ship.
Star Trek: Discovery stars Sonequa Martin-Green, as Captain of the USS Discovery after her promotion in season 3. The series co-stars Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, Mary Wiseman, Wilson Cruz, David Ajala and Blu del Barrio.
