After having the release date obsured by the ominous “coming soon” change in the trailers, we finally have a new date for Sony’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Instead of being released in the UK on September 15th, Venom 2 will crash into cinemas on October 15th. See? That isn’t too bad, is it? Due to the change in the trailers, we were definitely expecting a longer delay. But we can all handle an extra month.
To make up for the delay, we did get some really cool posters showing Carnage and Venom battling. This truly is the battle that we’ve been waiting for. We can’t wait to see it explode onto the big screen. It’s so close now.
Feast your eyes on the new poster below:
Pretty epic, right? Despite the delay, the countdown has begun. In just a matter of months, Marvel’s most iconic symbiotes will go head-to-head. We are so ready for it.
Venom 2, directed by Andy Serkis, stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, with Michelle Williams returning as Anne Weying. The film’s main villain, Carnage, will be played by Woody Harrelson who will co-star alongside Naomie Harris, Stephen Graham and Sean Delaney.
