We recently reported that production had commenced on Lionsgate’s John Wick 4. Now we’re hearing news on the casting of the latest chapter’s villain.
As per Deadline, the production is looking to cast former Dusk Till Dawn: The Series actor Marko Zaror. Negotiations are ongoing but Zaror is expected to join the ensemble cast which also features Donnie Yen, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, Lance Reddick and Shamier Anderson. Keanu Reeves also returns as the titular anti-hero.
Shay Hatten and Michael Finch wrote the screenplay which is being produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee and Chad Stahelski who also returns to direct.
John Wick 4 is currently slated for release on May 27, 2022.
