For ten years creator Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story has reinvented the horror genre for television. But on July 15 the creator will once again revolutionise the genre when the first season of anthology spin-off American Horror Stories begins on Hulu.
Where each season of the main series bring a new story, American Horror Stories will tell a new tale with every episode. After a series of typically cryptic teasers, Hulu has now debuted a full look at the series in the form of the below trailer.
There’s plenty of familiar faces in the trailer. AHS regulars Matt Bomer, Billie Lourd, Naomi Grossman, and John Carroll Lynch are all confirmed to appear in the spin-off. It certainly looks like Rubber Man, introduced in season one of the main show, will make an appearance here.
Look closely and you might spot a murderous looking Santa in the trailer. The creepy character is played by none other than Danny Trejo. Trejo is the most notable addition to the American Horror Stories cast so-far announced.
Once again created by Ryan Murphy, American Horror Stories stars Dyllon Burnside, Nico Greetham, Kevin McHale, Charles Melton, Matt Bomer, Taissa Farmiga, Evan Peters, Sierra McCormick, Kaia Gerber and Paris Jackson, among others. The series premieres July 15 on Hulu in North America. UK airdates are yet to be confirmed.
