Some very exciting news for Aquaman fans today. James Wan has taken to social media to confirm that cameras are now rolling on sequel Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom!
Today marks day one of the shoot and by the looks of the image below it’s starting somewhere rather icy. The image, of course, gives nothing away. But we do now know the film is shooting under the name Necrus.

James Wan returns to direct the sequel with Jason Momoa and Amber Herd both expected to return. Aquaman 2 is currently set to debut in theatres on December 16, 2022.
