Lamborghini has chosen Assetto Corsa Competizione for its official eSports tournament. Assetto Corsa Competizione will guarantee the most realistic virtual world adaptation of driving a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO on the most iconic circuits around the world.
Assetto Corsa Competizione is the official GT World Challenge video game, published by 505 Games and born from KUNOS Simulazioni’s long-standing experience in racing simulation development.
Designed in collaboration with top automotive manufacturers all over the world, and thanks to its unparalleled level of realism, Assetto Corsa Competizione is used by the drivers of Lamborghini Squadra Corse in order to train for real life races.
Following the incredible success of the 2020 edition – which saw the participation of over 2,500 drivers from 109 countries – the second season of this innovative racing format is taking place once again, merging the real and virtual worlds of motorsports together.
The Real Race returns with an updated format designed to be even closer, and even more accessible to the community and the players. This year the competition will take place on a global level to allow all drivers to qualify through 3 different regional rankings, and compete in 10 races both in traditional Grand Prix and Endurance events.
The top 3 racers of this event will win an experience at the Lamborghini headquarters in Italy, meet and train alongside official Lamborghini Squadra Corse Drivers and drive a real Lamborghini on a world-renowned raceway. But it’s not over yet, by the end of the experience one of the top 3 winners will receive the incredible opportunity to become Lamborghini’s official sim driver for 2022.
The tournament will take place from June to November, and racing drivers around the world can enter the open qualifying sessions from Monday to Friday. Qualifiers start on June 5th, so don’t miss out! For more info on the event and to register: https://esports.lamborghini/register/
