Writer/director James Gunn has shared a brand new image from his upcoming The Suicide Squad on social media. The image, which brings together a number of the team, appears to show an undercover adventure on the island of Corto Maltese.
“Squad Undercover in Corto Maltese: Ratcatcher 2, The Thinker, Bloodsport, & Polka Dot Man in #TheSuicideSquad,” read the caption for the pic, which the director shared on Instagram.
Gunn is, of course, referring to characters played by Daniela Melchior, Peter Capaldi, Idris Elba and David Dastmalchian, respectively.
It was recently confirmed that The Suicide Squad will release on week earlier in the UK. The film is now set to debut on July 30 with the North America release still set for cinemas and HBO Max on August 6.
