If you’ve been craving more adventures from Detective Benoit Blanc then we have some good news for you. Development on the sequel to Rian Johnson’s Knives Out continues with two more cast members boarding the project.
Deadline is reporting that Edward Norton (Birdman) has joined the cast alongside the recently announced Dave Bautista (Army of the Dead). Craig is already confirmed to reprise the role of super sleuth Benoit Blanc. Johnson is back to write and direct the pic and will produce with his partner Ram Bergman.
Back in March it was reported that Netflix was closing a deal north of $400M for the next two installments in the franchise, a historic deal for streamers. Netflix had no comment on the Norton casting when approached by Deadline.
Plot details for the sequel are unknown at this time, other then Craig’s Blanc returning to solve another mystery revolving around a large cast of suspects. Production is set to start this summer in Greece.
