In case you’ve been living under a rock, today is Star Wars Day. The ever-popular May the 4th celebrations today feature a new Star Wars themed short from The Simpsons and the debut of the franchise’s latest animated series.
The Bad Batch premieres its first episode on Disney+ today with further episodes releasing each Friday. The series brings together an elite bunch of clones amidst the the aftermath of the Clone Wars. In celebration of the series premiere, Lucasfilm has released a new featurette introducing the series’ cast of characters.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch—a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army— each possess a singular exceptional skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.
