Finally. The news we have all been waiting for. Young Tanjiro of the Demon Slayer Corps is on a mission to figure out a way to turn his sister back into a human.  And his emotional journey continues, as the new film that has slayed box office records in the Asia-Pacific region heads to the big screens in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Funimation is bringing the cinematically praised, emotionally charged, and action-packed anime film Demon Slayer The Movie: Mugen Train to select cinemas in the United Kingdom on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, and soon in Ireland. The film will be available in both English dub as well as subtitled, and also available in IMAX. Tickets are available in the coming weeks at demonslayermovie.co.uk.

“The support from fans worldwide has truly been the driving force behind the series, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience the next chapter in Tanjiro’s journey as a Demon Slayer” says Aniplex president Shu Nishimoto.

Unlike many anime films like the My Hero Academia films, this film actually continues adapting the manga. So for UK fans who have been loving Demon Slayer, watching the film is an absolute necessity. While is has been a long wait, we’re so relieved that Mugen Train will be heading to cinemas next month. For many of us, this may be our first time in a cinema since last year. What a film to start the year with.
