Warner Bros. has debuted a new behind-the-scenes look at the making of Mortal Kombat. The film, which was recently pushed back to April 23, will release both in theatres and on HBO Max in North America.
In the new featurette (below) we meet the cast of the film as they introduce us to the sprawling, international world of the film. We also hear from director Simon McQuoid as he discusses the development process on bringing the film to life.
Judging by the footage on show here Mortal Kombat is going to be huge in scale as well as action. Here in the UK we still await official news on when cinemas will reopen, at which time Warner Bros. will re-date the film for release.
Mortal Kombat stars Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Tadanobu Asano, Mehcad Brooks, Ludi Lin, Chin Han, Joe Taslim, Hiroyuki Sanada, Max Huang, Sisi Stringer, Matilda Kimber and Laura Brent. The film is set for release in theatres and on HBO Max on April 23, 2021.
