Zack Snyder’s Justice League is finally here. If you haven’t done so already, we highly recommend checking out our full review of the 4 hour event. To celebrate the monumental release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Hot Toys have released two new 1/6th scale figures.
The first figure, which honestly surprised us, was Superman in his iconic black suit. After the more recent release of the traditional suited Superman we never really anticipated any figures from the Snyder Cut. But here we are. The suit looks absolutely gorgeous. The sculpt looks to be the same as the previous version, but the suit is obviously the highlight here. This is how Superman was supposed to look.
The second figure, which could potentially be a reissue, was the Knightmare Batman that was originally introduced in Batman vs Superman. Knightmare Batman was a Toy Fair exclusive back in 2016, but it looks as though there are some subtle differences with Batman’s coat being one of them. What’s really interesting, and we mentioned this with the Boba Fett figure, is that this will be a double pack.
Feast your eyes on Superman and Batman:
They’re pretty amazing, right? You can get a better look at the two figures over at the official Hot Toys website. There, you’ll get a great idea of the specifications and accessories.
For one lump sum you can get your hands on these two awesome figures. According to Sideshow Collectibles, the set won’t be available until July 2022 and will cost roughly £380. Considering that you get two figures in the set, that isn’t a bad price at all. You can pre-order yours now.
It’ll be interesting to see whether Hot Toys do anymore figures from Zack Snyder’s Justice League. A few years ago, a Cyborg Hot Toy was announced but that was the last we heard. One that we would like to see is the villain Steppenwolf. Could it be possible? We’re not sure. Given his complex armor, Steppenwolf would be an incredibly difficult figure to construct and it would surely have a hefty price.
