After the long awaited Justice League trailer dropped, the legendary company behind the wondrous swords and props of Lord of the Rings, Weta Workshop, decided to add to the buzz. When the trailer dropped, they expressed their own excitement for the film and teased a “whole new world of collectibles”. What does that mean?
Yesterday we got our first official look at what Weta actually has planned. While it is just a 3D rendering, it’s the perfect way to get fans ready for this exciting wave of statues and collectibles. According to Weta, we’ll get our first good look at the 1:4 scale Superman in just a few weeks. On top of that, they also mention “Heroes & Villains”. Could we be getting a 1:4 statue of Steppenwolf and Darkseid? We hope so.
You can sign up for updates relating to Weta’s upcoming collectibles for Snyder’s Justice League so if you’re interested in seeing what they come up with, we highly recommend doing so. We’ll be sure to keep you guys posted on anything that comes from Weta. As collectors and fans of Weta’s work, we can’t wait to see what they come up with.
