Whenever I’m writing, reading, or spending my Sunday being lazy, I always like to have a video on in the background. For the past three weeks I have been watching Adam Savage’s Tested series on YouTube. Now, instead of just having it on in the background while I procrastinate like a champ, my eyes have been glued to the screen. If you have a passion for prop making, this is the show for you and Savage’s latest episode was a Star Wars treat.
What is Tested? I hear you ask. Well, it is the home of some of the coolest props. Adam will take you through the process of making swords from Lord of the Rings, guns from Hellboy, and he will even show you how to make a very convincing sword on a budget.
But it is also a lost more than that. There are collaborations, Q&A’s, guides, tours, and so much more. Fancy watching Adam Savage build a LEGO set? You can do that as well. He even builds some Star Wars LEGO.
This is a wildly fascinating show to sink your teeth into.
