Back in January we reported that Star Trek: Discovery had reported been renewed for a forth season by CBS. More recently, executive producer Alex Kurtzman has discussed plans for future seasons. But, until now, there has been no official confirmation that more episodes are on the way.
But last night, following the international premiere of the season 3 opener. CBS confirmed that Discovery will indeed be back for a forth season. Watch below as Kurtzman and fellow producer Michelle Paradise, alongside actors Sonequa Martin-Green and Doug Jones confirm that the show is returning:

With production on season 4 set to being on November 2 this confirms what we have believed for a while. CBS is happy with Discovery and renewed the show internally before season 3 was completed. Now it’s time to sit back and enjoy season 3 knowing that even more episodes are on the way!
