We’ve known for a little while that Sony and Marvel’s third, untitled Spider-Man film was due to enter production before the end of 2020. But now a new report from Murphy’s Multiverse suggests production is officially underway.
According to the site Camila Pacheco, the Executive Marketing Director of Sony Pictures Entertainment in Brazil, spoke at the recent ExpoCine event in Latin America and confirmed production had begun.
Pacheco told the gathered attendees that the film had already started production and that a first look at the film would be released before the end of the year. Yes, that is correct, Pacheco stated that either a teaser or preview would be released in December 2020. Could it be attached to the long-delayed Wonder Woman 1984 perhaps?
Directed once again by Jon Watts, the untitled third Spider-Man film will hit screens on December 17, 2021.
