After what feels like months of build-up Marvel’s Avengers will finally hit consoles across the globe next month.
Developer Crystal Dynamic has been hard at work polishing the game which saw its original release date pushed back in order to fine tune this new interpretation of the Marvel Universe.
But after rumours began to swirl of another core cast member joining the crew the developer has confirmed that Spider-Man will be an exclusive playable character on PlayStation.
In a lengthy blog-post on their website, Crystal Dynamics confirmed that version of Spidey who appears in the game is entirely separate to the one seen in Insomniac Games hugely successful release.
The developer has confirmed that Spidey will have his own impressive combination of web slinging moves and gadgets to create an entirely unique Spidey experience.
It is expected that Spidey will join the roster as a free, post-launch download and will be available in early 2021.
