Shortly after Aladdin hit the big screen rumours began to swirl that Disney was looking to potentially make a sequel to its latest hit, live-action remake. Now Variety is reporting that the studio is moving forwards with development on a sequel.
The trade is reporting that the studio is currently in the very early stages of developing an original sequel to the billion-dollar blockbuster. It is reporting that John Gatins (Real Steel) and Andrea Berloff (Straight Outta Compton) are currently penning the script.
