If you’re a fan of 2005’s Sin City directed by Robert Rodriguez then we have some news for you. Deadline is reporting that a new TV series based on the classic Dark Horse comic is currently in development.
As per the trade’s report, Legendary TV is developing the concept and is working with Rodriguez and original series author Frank Miller. If a deal can be made then both are expected to return as executive producers for this new version.
The franchise was last seen on screen in 2014’s Sin City: A Dame to Kill For which grossed $39.4m.
Legendary’s deal is said to guarantee a first season for the series but with no network/streaming platform currently lined up. There is also said to be an adult, R-rated, animated series in the works.
