Sony adds second SPIDER-MAN villain to VENOM sequel

Venom

Deadline is reporting that Sony Pictures Venom 2 has added a new villain to its script, straight from the Spider-verse.

According to the trade it won’t just be Woody Harrelson’s Carnage that Eddie (Tom Hardy) faces on against this time around. Comic book villain Shriek will also be making an appearance.

The character’s real name is Frances Barrison. A mutant with the capability to unleash powerful sonic blasts. She can also call forth her enemies’ darkest impulses. Given that symbiotes are not the biggest fans of loud noises this could certainly pose an issue for Eddie!

Andy Serkis directs Venom 2 which stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, with Michelle Williams returning as Anne Weying. The Film opens in cinemas on October 2, 2020.
