Sony Pictures has now confirmed rumours that Spider-Man: Far From Home is heading back to cinemas on August 29.
A press release reveals that audiences will be treated to “approximately four additional minutes of a never-before-seen action sequence.” The new cut arrives in time for Labour Day weekend in the US and will also be available in IMAX screens.
No news yet on whether this re-release will arrive on international screens but we’ll update you when we know more.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is directed by Jon Watts and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker, the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. It is scheduled for release on July 2.
