It’s been a stellar few days for Venom 2, first the announcement that Andy Serkis will be taking on directing duties and now Michelle Williams has confirmed she will return for the sequel.
Despite reports from many that Williams was unhappy with the end result of the first movie and claims that she was phoning in her performance, it seems she is ready for a second attempt at the franchise.
Speaking with Yahoo! Entertainment Williams first confirmed that she was “in” on the sequel before commenting on working with Serkis.
“I’m such a fan of Andy’s, and I’m so inspired by what he’s been able to accomplish,” she said. “He’s so gifted in such a specific way, and I’m very excited to learn from him and be around him.”
Could we perhaps see more of Lady Venom this time around?
