Very little is known about Amazon Prime’s upcoming Lord of the Rings series at this stage. It was recently announced that Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom director J.A. Bayona is taking on the first couple of episodes but beyond that we know very little about our return to Middle Earth.
Variety has now exclusively revealed that Markella Kavenagh has joined the cast as Middle Earth character named Tyra.
We don’t know about you but we don’t remember a character by that name in the books. So she could be a new invention for the series or this could be subterfuge to hide who she is really playing.
Kavenagh is no stranger to Prime series having appeared in Amazon’s Picnic at Hanging Rock.
