Following some high profile and well documented issues we’re sad to confirm that Fan Fest 2019 in London has been cancelled. Organisers of the event contacted fans overnight to confirm the news and announce the show has been rescheduled to February 2020.
Signs of trouble began when Arrow star Stephen Amell stepped away from the show. Though no official reason was given behind-the-scenes gossip stated that he had fallen out with show organisers. Amell has since confirmed he will appear at MCM Comic Con which takes place the same weekend.
Next, photo op company Celebrity Photo Ops pulled out of their partnership with the newly rebranded Fan Fest event. They cited no wanting to be closely aligned with the tarnished reputation of Fan Fest. Ouch!
Caity Lotz (Legends of Tomorrow) and several other high profile guests also pulled out and it seemed the writing was on the wall.
As it stand the event is now set to take place at London’s Olympia on February 22nd and 23rd 2020.
That weekend also marks the return of Walker Stalker Fest to London with tickets for one event allowing entry to both. Double the event for half the money.
