Variety has today confirmed a rumour we’ve all been hearing for some time. Marvel is in the process of developing a Hawkeye series for its Disney+ streaming service.
Jeremy Renner is attached to the series which is currently being developed for a limited run. The project is said to be an adventure series in which Clint Barton, will be seen passing the torch to Kate Bishop. Bishop is a Marvel Comics character who took up the Hawkeye mantle after Barton. She is also a member of the group known as the Young Avengers.
Hawkeye joins the previously confirmed Loki series starring Tom Hiddleston and the long rumoured Scarlett Witch/Vision team up series.
