New BRIGHTBURN trailer shows the darker side of the Superman origin

Remember the day that James Gunn was fired from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 he was due to appear at SDCC. That day he was set to appear at the Sony Pictures panel to launch a new super hero horror movie he was producing. Enter Brightburn.

The movie, directed by David Yarovesky, takes a look at the darker side of a story close to that of Superman’s origin. Check out the latest trailer in the player below but be warned, you might want to hide behind a pillow!

Directed by David Yarovesky, Brightburn stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denham, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones and Meredith Hagner. The movie is set to hit cinemas on May 24, 2019.
