Jon Favreau reveals THE MANDALORIAN as title for new STAR WARS series

Actor-director Jon Favreau has finally revealed the name of his Star Wars TV series. Posting a description on Instagram Favreau confirmed the show would be set on the planet Mandalore. He also revealed a short synopsis for the series.

The synopsis name drops both Jango and Bobba Fett but we have no confirmation as to whether those characters will appear on the show. Casting for the series is yet to be announced.

The Mandalorian is the first of several planned Star Wars series set to premiere on the new Disney streaming service due to launch in 2019.
