AQUAMAN lands on the cover of EW magazine

Today has seen a number of huge Aquaman reveals. Sadly we still don’t have the films first trailer but we do have a whole heap of new images and gossip courtesy of EW.

First up are the two covers for the magazine. The first features a solo Jason Momoa. The second gives us our first look at Nicole Kidnman as Queen Atlanna!

Next up we got the first photo tease of Yahoo Abdul-Mateen as Black Manta. Though we don’t get to see him in full costume we do get a look at his iconic helmet.

Next up the magazine gave us a sneaky peek at several more photos from the issue. Let’s start with a shot of Momoa which seems to be from the same scene as their last exclusive.

In the next still we see Arthur Curry and Mera on dry land. She appears to be carrying some kind of map. What could they be searching for?

Next we finally have a first look at Patrick Wilson as Orm aka Ocean Master. The magazine reports that Orm wants to declare war on the surface world. Do we spy his iconic helmet at the bottom of the frame there?

Next we get a behind-the-scenes shot from one of the underwater scenes and it looks fantastic! The lighting, the colours, the set design… it all looks awesome!

Last up is another look at Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna. She appears to be holding a young Arthur. Could that be his father whose shoulder we are looking over?

Aquaman stars Jason Momoa in the title role of Arthur Curry/Aquaman. The film also stars Amber Heard as Mera; Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe as Vulko; Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry; Dolph Lundgren as Nereus; Yahya Abdul-Mateen II  as Black Manta; with Patrick Wilson as Orm/Ocean Master; and Oscar winner Nicole Kidman as Atlanna.

The film is being produced by Peter Safran, with Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Rob Cowan, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.
