Actor Keiynan Lonsdale (Love, Simon) has confirmed that he is to leave his role as Wally West in the Arrow-verse. The actor currently appears on both The Flash and more recently Legends of Tomorrow.
In a post to his Instagram account Lonsdale explained the reasons behind his exit.

It has been confirmed that Wally will have a role in the first episode of both his series. Perhaps these will cross over to give the character a fitting exit. Hopefully the door is left open for a potential return down the line.
Lonsdale first joined the The Flash in the season 2 episode “Running to Stand Still“. He went on to become a series regular before moving over to Legends of Tomorrow during it’s third season. He recently appeared in the romantic comedy Love, Simon to critical acclaim.
