Jason Momoa has been playing Arthur Curry for some time now. Yet it isn’t until December 2018 that we will finally see the King of Atlantis headlining his first movie. The actor has been discussing the production of Aquaman with the guys from MTV.
When asked about the differences between production on his solo outing and that of Justice League Momoa had some interesting words to say:
“Justice League was like college. I’m not really sure what Aquaman was, it’s just all on my shoulders. I had a great time.”
“I think in Justice League, you had five other characters around you suffering equally the same, so it was kind of fun to endure that. And then, you know, it got me ready to do my solo movie which was challenging and tough and hard and super satisfying.”
It’s fair to say the formula of introducing a character alongside others worked well for Wonder Woman. Warner Bros. will be hoping to repeat that success later this year for sure.
