Paramount confirmed two STAR TREK movies in development

Back in December we brought you news that Quentin Tarantino is developing a Star Trek movie. The subject came up last night during Paramount Pictures presentation at CinemaCon. Whilst promoting the new Mission Impossible and several other upcoming projects the studio was asked about the future of the Trek franchise.

Whilst Tarantino’s name was not mentioned it was confirmed that not one but TWO Star Trek movies are in development. No further information was given.

It’s safe to say one of these movies is the Tarantino script. What could the other one be? It’s time to speculate…
