Great news for Constantine fans! Overnight several new sources, including EW, have broken the news that Matt Ryan has been promoted to a series regular on Legends of Tomorrow.
The character has already appeared in two episodes of the current season. He is due to return for the season finale in April which will presumably setup his role in the shows fourth season.
The only snag?
The show has yet to be officially picked up for a fourth season. With the news of Ryan’s promotion that’s definitely a positive sign the show will be returning. CW president Mark Pedowitz has previously told news outlets he was “optimistic” the full DCTV slate would be renewed for another season.
Legends of Tomorrow stars Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Tala Ashe, Amy Pemberton, Arthur Darville, Wentworth Miller, Nick Zano, and Dominic Purcell. The series airs Tuesday nights on the CW in North America and on Sky One in the UK.
