Fans have been wondering for some time when Cobie Smulders and Samuel L. Jackson would return to the Marvel franchise. We know that Jackson is returning for Captain Marvel but that film isn’t due to enter production until March.
A new batch of set photos from JustJared point to the pair being on set now for an ‘upcoming Marvel project’.
We know that Avengers 4 has wrapped principal photography but could still be working on second unit filming. There are also rumours that Avengers: Infinity War was entering a brief period of reshoots following completion on the fourth Avengers movie.
It’s worth noting that these photos feature a mix of Samuel L. Jackson with eye patch on and off. This could be for a variety of reasons but logic states they are rehearsing a scene most likely for one of the two upcoming Avengers films.
