Box Office
‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ crosses $1B worldwide

The inevitable has happened: Star Wars: The Last Jedi has crossed $1 billion at the worldwide box office. Taking only 18 days to cross the landmark that makes it the fourth fastest film to do so in history.
The Last Jedi lags behind only Furious 7, Jurassic World and The Force Awakens in terms of speed. But whilst The Force Awakens was able to cross the $2 billion mark there’s little chance its follow-up will be able to do the same.
In this latest video interview for the movie director Rian Johnson talks crafting Rey’s story:
Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie and Andy Serkis, as well as Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran.
The film is in cinemas worldwide now!
