A few weeks ago we brought you a rumours that Quentin Tarantino was working on a Star Trek movie pitch. Deadlinehas now brought us the latest developments on the films production status.
According to a report released overnight Paramount Pictures has officially hired Mark L. Smith (The Revenant) to write the script for the R-rated film. The trade reports that Tarantino is still eyeing the directors chair for the film as a co-production with J.J. Abrams.
