Lizzy Caplan joins Channing Tatum in ‘Gambit’

Lizzy Caplan

The Gambit movie has had a long, some would say torturous, development. A revolving door of directors, writers and release dates has led many to believe the film may never see the light of day. But with news that 20th Century Fox is stepping up production on the film casting news is starting to surface.

Variety is carrying a story that Masters of Sex and Cloverfield star Lizzy Caplan will be joining lead Channing Tatum in the film. It should be noted that currently Caplan is still ‘in talks’ to join and no news yet on what role she will be playing.

Gambit will be directed by Gore Verbinski and is aiming for a February 2019 release date.
