Gotham has found a new Poison Ivy… again. Fans will remember that during the shows third season Maggie Geha took over the role from Clare Foley. Foley had played Ivy Pepper beginning in the shows pilot episode.
When Ivy was touched by one of the Indian Hill mutations she was ‘aged up’ and the role was taken over by Geha. Geha appeared at the beginning of the shows fourth season but has been absent since taking a cocktail of mythical plant remedies.
“In the continuing evolution of Poison Ivy’s origin story, Ivy Pepper has been transformed once again taking another step toward becoming the Ivy we know from the comics,” Gotham‘s producers said in a statement via TVLine. “Dangerous. A live wire of crazy energy. She’ll set her sights on Gotham, intent on making the city her own green paradise.”
Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock and David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne. The series also stars Robin Lord Taylor as Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean and Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth.
