FOX releases new ‘X-Files’ season 11 first look

Here’s a little surprise from NYCC today: the first trailer for The X-Files season 11. Following the success of last years short revival the series was picked up for a further 10 episode run. From the looks of this intense trailer much of the new season will focus on Mulder and Scully’s missing child William.

Thankfully it also seems the series will spend a little time mopping up the fallout from last seasons jaw dropping cliffhanger.

The X-Files stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny. The series co-stars Mitch Pileggi, William B. Davis, Karin Knoval and Barbara Hershey. The series was created by Chris Carter and is produced by 20th Century Fox Television and Ten Thirteen Productions.

The X-Files returns in 2018.
