Matthew Vaughn talks directing Superman

A few months ago we brought the news that Kingsman helmer Matthew Vaughn was in the frame to direct Man of Steel 2. Since then all has been quite whilst Warner Bros. builds up to the release of Justice League. With Superman still technically dead any developments are most likely being kept under wraps.
In conversation with website HeyUGuys to promote Kingsman: The Golden Circle Vaughn was asked about his future plans. Here’s what he had to say:
“I am planning another Kingman, I’ve written the treatment and some of the scenes…I don’t know what I’m going to do next but I have had chats about Superman, I love Superman. If somebody asks me to do Indiana Jones, most of the superheros or Star Wars the fanboy in me can’t help but be excited.”

Would you be excited for Vaughn to take on Henry Cavill’s version of the Man of Steel? Sound off in the comments box.
