Last night fans at San Diego Comic Con were treated to a screening of the first episode of ‘The Defenders’. Marvel and Netflix master plan to bring together Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist has been met with positive reaction.
Whilst those of us not at the convention have to wait until August 18th for the series to land on Netflix we do have a new trailer. This extended look at the series gives us a much better idea of the series storyline and villains. There’s also glimpses of the huge supporting cast from each of the individual series.

Marvel’s The Defenders follows Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.
The Defenders stars Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, Finn Jones, Sigourney Weavee, Elodie Yung, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Scott Glenn, Carrie-Anne Moss, Rachael Taylor, Simone Missick and Jessica Henwick.
The full season of 8 episodes hits Netflix worldwide on August 18, 2017.
