Around a week ago Lionsgate circulated a document to the press detailing the production of ‘Power Rangers’. As well as interviews with the cast and crew the document has the films full list of credits.
Many fans within the press did as we did and jumped straight to the cast list. As we all eagerly searched to see the name ‘Tommy Oliver’ we were met with disappointment. That disappointment soon turned to elation when two characters listed as ‘Cameo’ appeared.
Who might you ask has a cameo in the film? Well we weren’t going to tell you but the cat is out of the bag now… Amy Jo Johnson and Jason David Frank will both appear!
There’s no word on who the original Pink and Green/White Ranger will be playing but both are in the films official cast list. Amy Jo Johnson recently interviewed the new Rangers as a surprise during their press junket (see video below). Jason David Frank appeared at the launch of the new ‘Power Rangers: Legacy Wars’ app to battle new Black Ranger Ludi Lin.
This is great news for fans of the original franchise. The ‘Power Rangers’ movie director Dean Israelite has also warned fans to keep an eye out for Easter eggs littered throughout the film! Don’t forget to keep an eye on our social media channels for our ‘Power Rangers’ countdown!
