Sony confirms Miles Morales for animated ‘Spider-Man’ film

It has long been rumoured that Miles Morales would be the focus of Sony’s long gestating animated ‘Spider-Man’ project.
The project, first announced last year, has also gained a second director. Sony had previously announced that Bob Persichetti would be helming the project. Todays reveal brings the news that he will be joined by Peter Ramsey as co-director. The film is due for release December 21st 2018.
The announcement, made during a presentation in LA today, was followed up by a series of tweets.
