Warner Bros. have unleashed a fresh batch of dark justice with a new crop of graffiti style posters for the upcoming ‘LEGO Batman Movie’, due for release in February 2017.
The new images include headshots of Batman with a look of steely determination, a fresh-faced Robin, Alfred and Batgirl, as well as classic Batman villains such as Mr. Freeze, Penguin, Joker, Riddler and more. Each poster is vibrant and expressive, suggesting strong characters and personalities in the upcoming movie. Check out the gallery HERE.
The 2017 animated movie focuses on Batman’s struggles as he takes on a plethora of nefarious villains from his past, all the time learning to work with a new partner; the recently adopted Robin.
There are big changes brewing in Gotham, but if Batman (Will Arnett) wants to save the city from the Joker’s hostile takeover, he may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
Cast for the leading roles are Will Arnett (‘The LEGO Movie’) as Batman, Michael Cera (‘Superbad’) as Robin, with Ralph Fiennes (Harry Potter) and Zach Galafianakis ‘The Hangover’ as The Joker.
Directed by Chris McKay, with writers including Seth Grahame-Smith and Chris McKenna, The LEGO Batman Movie will be only the second feature length LEGO film to have been produced so far, following on from the successful 2014 box office hit. With a further 2 movies confirmed for release in 2017 and 2019, and ‘The Billion Brick Race’ awaiting a release date.
‘The LEGO Batman Movie’ is scheduled to be released on February 10, 2017
